SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you make payment(s) on a utility damage, as part of the payment process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

Payment:

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then PLC stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

 All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
 

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our company and its service providers.

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

Refunds

Returns

Currently, Phoenix Loss Control, Inc. (PLC) does not sell merchandise or goods.  Since there is nothing that could be “returned,” PLC does not currently have a policy on returns.

Refunds (if applicable)

If your payment was made in error, or you made an overpayment, or, if after payment, it is definitively determined by mutual agreement that you were not responsible for damage or damages, PLC does have the ability to execute a refund.

If your refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
